Hi! I’m Mutlu,

a sustainability professional based in Munich.

My background in Meteorological Engineering (B.Sc.) and Sustainable Resource Management (M.Sc.) shaped how I look at sustainability: with curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong connection to environmental and climate data.

Today, I bring this background into a business context, working on topics such as sustainability strategy, carbon accounting, product sustainability, ESG reporting, and EU sustainability regulations. What I enjoy most is making complex sustainability topics easier to understand and more practical to work with.

On this website, I share a bit about my background, and some thoughts and insights on sustainability developments I’m following.

What I Focus On

Carbon Accounting‍ ‍

Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, data collection, calculation, and reporting.

Product Sustainability

Product Carbon Footprint, LCA-based thinking, material data, and supplier communication.

Data & Reporting

Structuring sustainability data and supporting ESG-related reporting.

Sustainability Regulations

Following EU sustainability topics such as CSRD, EU Battery Regulation, CBAM, REACH and RoHS.

My Background

Science & Environmental Data
My academic journey started with Meteorological Engineering, where I developed a strong interest in climate, environmental systems, and data-based analysis and interpretation.

Sustainability Studies
Later, I studied Sustainable Resource Management at TUM, which helped me connect environmental topics with business, and practical sustainability solutions.

Business Sustainability
During my master’s studies, I started working at Porsche eBike Performance, where I continued growing in the field of corporate sustainability. Today, I bring these experiences together in practical sustainability work.
